Pallet Heaven
I got totally inspired by this article on the Home Edit website . How to make amazing furniture out of (old) wooden pallets.
Pallets are made of strong wood, and used pallets can have that beautiful worn-out look that makes it unnecessary to paint them. But if you like to add some color, pallets are very easy to paint.

Lakenvelder Chickens
Our four "wicked sisters"; the lakenvelder hens. In the lower left corner you can see rooster Dirk. He's half wyandotte, half chickus-unknownus.
Cherry Nails
It's so easy to try something new on your nails. Thanks to stamping kits, decals and thousands of nail art tutorials on the internet everybody can be a nail artist.
With the help of a Bundle Monster image plate (Amazon.com) and some fine paint brushes I created some "Cherry Nails".
The base color is a pretty mint green color by catrice. I used a special black Konad polish for stamping the cherry print on the base and a simple red polish as a base color for the cherries. With some white polish I created highlights on the cherries and with a dark green polish I painted some small leaves.
Nail art is all about fun. If you're not satisfied with the result, the only thing you need to start over is a big bottle of nail polish remover and some cotton wool.

Our golden girl
It's a pleasure to introduce you all our pretty girl "Faith".
She's the first American Paint Horse in Europe registered as champagne gold tobiano.
Faith was born in 2008, and on this picture she just turned one.
Another picture taken at the same day. Here you see Faith with her big sis, Ayla. Ayla was born in 2005 and she's a full sister of Faith, but she didn't get the champagne gene so she's a chestnut tobiano. We still own both sisters and they are inseparable.
